Born and raised in Houston, TX, where the food and culture is vibrant and diverse. As a kid, he knew he wanted to become a dentist - so his journey began at the University of Texas at Austin where he completed his undergraduate studies before moving to Florida to obtain his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at LECOM.

Although not originally from Austin, after living there during ungrad, he knew that’s where he would always return. He is excited to serve the Central Austin community, and even more excited to meet fellow Longhorns in the area!

In his spare time, Dr. Chen likes to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoys traveling to new places and trying new food, and finds joy in the occasional game of basketball.

Here at 51Tooth Dental Haus, Dr. Chen is thrilled to provide personalized restorative and cosmetic dentistry to his patients, and to ensure they have a safe and comfortable space to discuss any dental needs. Keep Austin Flossin’!

Madelyn (also known as Maddie) is originally from Illinois. She moved to Austin in 2013 and have been at the pratice ever since! Even before moving to Texas, she has been working in the dental field since 1985 - and she is a master at working with insurance and making sure patients understand their benefits! In her free time, Maddie enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their dog, Millie. She also loves to shop, watch sports (she will even host the occassional trivia games for the team), and being outdoors in the warm Texas weather! Go Cubs!

Linda is a true Austinite as she was both born and raised here. She completed her undergraduate studies just down the road at University of Texas at Austin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend. She also has a twin sister named Lydia! She loves hosting cooking nights at her home, where her and her friends will induldge in some good food and a movie! If you ever need recommendations for a good Korean BBQ spot in town, she’s your girl!

Linda is our most tenured team member, and continues to provide exceptional care to all her long time patients. She has been providing exceptional dental hygiene care for over 30 years! She is originally from Irving, TX before moving to Austin with her husband, where they raised their two children. She is now a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, and loves the time she gets to spend with them. When she is not at work, Linda and her husband enjoys traveling and spending time in the great outdoors, especially hiking in the mountains.

Allison is our newest Dental Hygienist! She is originally from Lumberton, TX, but recently lived in Dallas before making the move here to join us in Austin! She is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Cooper. They enjoy traveling to new cities, but also just love cooking at home and hosting friends and family along with their two dogs, Luna and Moose! You’ll most likely see Allison cheering on her two teams, Texas A&M Aggies and the Atlanta Braves! Since she is newer to the area, make sure to recommend any good mexican food spots around the area (it’s her favorite)!

Kayla is also another true Austinite! When not at work, she enjoys exploring the great city of Austin with her boyfriend and family. Outside of being Dr. Chen’s Lead Dental Assistant, Kayla is extremely talented at doing nails! She is also learning how to cook, and chicken alfredo is her all time favorite dish!

Michelle is from the Pflugerville area. She recently started her career as a Dental Assistant here at 51Tooth in early of 2024, and have enjoyed helping patients with their dental care. She loves spending time with her friends and family when she is not working. Her favorite food is enchiladas entomatadas.
